It’s important to keep in mind that muscle does weigh more than fat, so if you shed some of the fat but have built muscle in the process, that success won’t reflect on the scale.
lololololololol. Counting calories that you can consume a day will definitely aid in your weight loss, but it’s typically more important to cut out refined sugar and refined carbohydrates in order to get your body moving in a healthy direction

While taken out of context they completely miss the point, but the sentence that follows states why it can be problematic for some people. Simple carbs are digested quickly and don't fill people up, so they may snack more. It's definitely true for some and also explains why there are so many responses to threads that say to switch out carb snacks for protein/fat based snacks.
Although, I'm sure the IF group and people who read research studies will have a problem with the skipping meals one. It's not a perfect list, but people should pay attention to a lot of the points.0 -
Calories in.... Calories out......
Consume more than you burn: Gain weight,
Consume less than you burn: Lose weight,

I've read on these forums some of the same thing this article said.

Take it for what it's worth. I thought there were some good points. If nothing else, it's a good conversation piece.0
