Bodymedia and NOT losing...

I'm a 5'6" 140 lb 32 year old woman. I've been using my bodymedia consistently since the end of December (5 weeks now). My average daily burn is around 2400 on non-workout days and around 2800 on workout days. When I looked at my bodymedia report my average daily calories consumed are around 1900 (I eat around 1600 on non-workout day, and over 2000 on workout days). I'm confused as to why I haven't lost any weight or lost inches?? Is my average daily calorie deficit of 500 (approx) too large??
Since I'm within a healthy range and I'm only looking to lose about 10 lbs is that deficit too large? Will eating a few hundred more calories make a difference? I guess I was under the impression it was all about calories in vs calories out, but it doesn't seem to be that simple anymore. I've been stuck at this weight for 6 months now and I just KNEW once I got the accurate info regarding my body that it would be easy. And I know it can't be that I'm seriously under or over estimating my food intake because I have a food scale, measuring cups, etc and I use labels. My goal is to decrease my body fat, I thought that was accomplished through a calorie deficit combined with strength, but after 5 months of experimenting with different calories and one month of bodymedia, I'm starting to get discouraged!

Plateauing is natural. Try doing a different form of cardio. Some people us the teetering method to break through a plateau (eating less calories one day and more the next). There's a BUNCH of difference ways. You just need to find one that works for you. Good luck!0
