Lose weight eating Chef Boyardee?

I'm on a 1200 calorie diet with a doctors supervision. I eat a bunch of baby spinach, carrots, and a half of a cucumber at least each day. I drink a bunch of water. Is it possible to eat Chef Boyardee foods as long as I stay at or below 1200 calories? A lot of people are going to say it's not the best choice.. but one can a day. I eat a bunch of veggies during the day. Also I use a packet of ranch each day that is 120 calories. I entered everything into the log and I have 130 calories left.. just enough for a snack. I love this site, it has helped me a lot and I appreciate truly all of your comments.

Loosing weight is about a calorie deficit. But being healthy is about eating clean and moving your body. Can you find recipes for other things that are similar to those cans of "food" and eat Real Food instead?0

Sure, you can eat whatever you want. I have a prepacked cardboard dinner for lunch every day and I haven't died yet.0

I think you could...however there's probably a lot of salt in it - which may cause water retention..
Also, I wouldn't it eat when you're hungry (treat it like a dessert) - you'll probably still be hungry after, which may cause you to overeat..
Good luck!0 -
There's a lot of talk about "eating clean", bad carbs, good carbs, sugar, fat, etc etc. But the bottom line is calories in, calories out. You need to burn more than you consume if you want to see and feel the results. I think as long as you are getting enough nutrients and water, you should be able to indulge in some Spaghetti-Os or raviolis or whatever from time to time, as long as you keep within your daily caloric allotment. This is about learning sane eating habits for normal people, not food deprivation and feeling like crap. Good luck!0
