Los Angeles/Pasadena anyone?

Hi, I have some friends on here that have helped motivate me, but it would really be great to have some local people that could share new places to work out or restaurants or even get together for a hike or tennis or something. I am in the Pasadena area so if anyone else is in the same boat I'd love to hear from you :o)

Hi Tiffany. I live in Pasadena (Southwest area) and just switched from Lose It to MFP. I don't have any workout suggestions (i use my works gym) but I do have some good restaurant suggestions :)

I live in Atwater Village, but I'm always up in Pasadena/Altadena. Great trails around there. Always in for restaurant suggestions.

I've been in love with La Launa Negra, the tapas place in Pasadena lately. They always have groupons.
  • H Tiffany,

I'm from San Diego, but currently in Fullerton for school. I see you started at 145, I started at 142. We have similar goals too but I'm probably much shorter than you lol

I try to go to Eaton Canyon, it's very pretty and a nice hike

    Vpetryshyn:
    Restaurants to try in Pasadena
-Europane on Colorado across from Paseo Coloado (excellent breakfast on the weekend)
-Heirlooom (South Pasadena on Meridian and Mission) good anytime they have sandwiches, salads, etc
-Daist Mint Thai food on Coloado across the street from Michaels Art Supplu
-Zushi on California between Fair Oaks and Pasadena Ave
-Porta Via Italian food near Zushi
-Bommie B's BBQ Heaven on Lake and Washington

There is an easy walk (wouldn't consider it a hike) near JPL and there's always the arroyo seco for an alternative place to exercise
