Is it a bad thing to eat too much protein 3 or 4 days a week if your trying to lose weight?

    i try and eat 1 gram per pound if I'm lifting. otherwise at least 50 grams per day. protien keeps you fuller longer, and its good for muscle maintenance. wont hurt

    Not really unless you eat excessive amounts per day ( 600 grams) then you'll feel it in the kidneys.

    Its only bad if you have some medical condition when you have to limit your protein

    Nope I consume over 200 grams a day without even thinking abut it. I am still alive ;-) 1 Gram per pound of lean body mass is really what you should aim for everyday.

    extra protein converts to glucose much like eating carbohydrates... so basically you are just eating a more expensive carbohydrate
