So Saturday will be the first day of Spring. I just wondered what people were doing to get ready for Spring, or what excites you most about spring? For me, my daughter's birthday is that day, so that's exciting. Also, we're planting seeds to sprout so we can plant the seedlings for our vegetable garden in May (New York has the shortest growning season!!!). i am so excited and looking foreward to all the fresh vegetables we will have this summer and all the fun we will have as a family planting and tending the garden.

My boyfriend and I are spending as much of our time outside as we can!! We took a walk Saturday and I took a short one to take some pictures with my new SLR yesterday afternoon. I should be able to run outside now!! :) So excited. I'm buying my first pair of real running shoes this week.

We've had such a gloomy winter here in Kansas. I am so glad to know that spring is right around the corner! First on my spring list is to take our dog to the dog park and for more walks! :)

I love this weather, spent the whole day in the garden, gardening on Sunday, and its gets the kids off of the blooming PS3 and computer games, they get in from school and go straight on the trampoline! I even join them occasionally ;-) love love love it!!!!

We had our first proper snow fall on the Island in over 20 years and it's not been a good winter weather wise, lots of rain and cold nasty days. I am looking forward to more days like the last few, more sun and more chances to get out and walk the downs and look at places, we like to visit old Churches (my Canadian Husband was thrilled to find the grave of a knight that fought at Agincourt in a Church near here) and also find new places to wander around. I want to take him to Bath and Cheddar this year too, if we can get the time. We also are going on Honeymoon this year (time off was an issue when we got married) and I am looking forward to that VERY much!
