To an extent... I drink a gallon +/- per day usually. I have to go a lot. I usually stop drinking water at 9 or so, that way I can sleep without waking up in the middle of the night about to burst! hehehe

I go more than I used to but my body definitely adapted to it so I'm no longer going every hour on the hour.

If you have to pee that much you're probably drinking too much. As long as your urine is pale yellow you're hydrated. There's no magic weight loss with drinking a lot of water except maybe the extra exercise running to the bathroom all day.

I switched from drinking 4 20 oz bottles of pop a day to strictly water and I had to per constantly the first few days.

I drink 4.5litres/1.8 gallons or more most days when I am in the office. You do get a bit used to it, although I suppose I do go about once an hour too. Regular toilet breaks are a good way to get office drones up and walking about regularly.

Then on the weekends/holidays when water consumption goes down (as I get fed up with finding a loo) I get headaches and tired.
  • No, not really. But just think of how much your body loves you for drinking it! and look at how clear that urine is! hahah it's something, isn't it?

Increase your intake slowly, sip don't glug, be sure you are consuming enough overall calories, carbs and electrolytes or you won't hold onto the water.

think of it as your hourly meditation break, and every time you pee thats your system that much cleaner!

I've gotten a bit religious about my increased pee pee breaks, and tell my coworkers I'm going to meditate and pray that they start drinking water too.
  • I drink about a gallon of water a day . I have to use the bathroom every hour or so . I don't think my body will ever adjust .
