Day 3 -30 Day Shred

I just completed day 3 of 30 day shred. I love this exercise because it's started to push me where I want to give up but don't because I KNOW I can do it. I'm getting really sore though, is there anything I can do about that besides hot baths? Also to those who have done the workout and got great results what diet did you follow? And could you look at my diary and see how I am doing? Ignore the oreo I had today, that usual doesn't happen, but it was just one :P

    Alright so far. Its a great workout. I've never stuck to a workout before but I am with this one

    I'm on Level 2, Day 6 tonight. I really like this workout, but it kicks your buttocks!

    I would kill for an oreo, or ho-ho's (sniff, sniff)

    I'll do day 3 tonight. I was really sore this morning but Excedrin helped!! (had a headache too) As for the Oreo good for you! Ya deserve a treat once in a while. Look @ my diary...usually involves something sweet at least once a day. Or I'd binge.
  • I did level 1, day 6 today. It should be day 7 but I had to skip one day becuase my arms were so sore, I couldn't fully extend them. And my quads (on the outside of my thighs) were brutal, I could barely sit on a toilet. I took a hot bath and massaged the crap out of my arms and legs. That and the one day off helped significantly. And I didnt think I would be that sore becuase I figure skate three times a week for an hour, including jumps and spins. But it kicked my tail. I would highly recommend this. I can get through the workout becuase it is so short. I know I can't commit for an hour. I do find Jillian a bit annoying but she knows her crap and I feel stronger already. I am no expert on diet, I just try to eat low cal, high protein. Lots of chicken, veggies, cottage cheese, protein bars, greek yogurt, wheat pasta (not low cal, but it workd in my days sometimes), fish. I eat a lot of white chicken chili also.

    Day five,level one and feeling great.Yesterday I was feeling so good,I did more reps with the weights after the 20 minutes.BIG MISTAKE! Hot bath for an hour and motrin.

    I just finished day 18, day 8 of level 2!!! I did not take measurements, but can feel and see a big difference. Clothes are loose and I have even lost a couple of pounds. I have only took one break as i had a vball tourny to go too. I also try to do some extra cardio at least 5 days out of the week.

    I'm on day 7 of level 1 and I'm not nearly as sore as I used to be. I think it helps to do it every other day instead of every day. Muscles need time to recover after such an intense workout so I make sure only to do it 3 times a week and do cardio on off days. Stick with it, you can do it!
