Calories In Black Coffee????

Ok I’m a little confused; I never thought that black coffee had any calories in it. (I drink a lot) I was searching the web and seen that for one cup of black coffee it has anywhere between 1 to 5 calories in it. REALLY that’s a surprise to me. If you could please help shed some light on this.

I don't drink coffee so not 100% certain but seems correct to me, all food/drink aside from water is going to have some calorific score, and 1-5 calories seems nothing in reality. unless your drinking 50+ cups a day I'd say the cals are nothing to worry about.

It has about 5 per cup. I don't count them because that's ridiculously silly.

If you just drink regular black coffee, the calories are usually about 2. And that's mainly just because of the coffe bean oil that you get with your morning cup of joe.

    Essentially negligible, imo.

Yes, black tea and coffee have a very small number of calories in them. The actual figure is probably outweighed by the estimations in all your food.

Nope that would be from the Protein in your coffee made from grounds 0.1gm of protein compared to 0.002 gram of oil/fat
