Finally!

I started logging and really using the site a few weeks ago. I played around with my calories for a bit trying to understand TDEE, MFP, setting etc. I finally decided to settle on a calorie target. I got going tracking and started working out. I've been doing exercise DVD's that have made me super sore.

So, of course I was ticked when the scale refused to budge. I "knew" in my head that it was normal for my body to hold on because I started exercising. But when you're in the moment all you can think is "I'm doing the flipping work! Why aren't I losing, arrrrrghh!".

Anyway, I got a nice scale surprise this morning. It FINALLY moved down!! I'm down 3lbs from where a started about 3 weeks ago. AND, we ate out last night so I was actually expecting to be up a bit because of sodium. I'm so relieved to see the work I'm doing paying off, finally.

    I know it is so annoying when you feel like you can't do anymore and nothing is happening. In the same postion. Hopefully I will get on the scale and I will see a 3lb loss very soon.
    Keep your chin up and stick with it.
