Hobbitt Bag End to Rivendell

This, if you track your miles, tells you how far you've gone on Bilbo and the dwarves' journey.

I know there are plenty of other groups doing this, but they were either too slow for me, had already started, etc.

So. Come on, track your miles, and come to Rivendell with me!

Track your miles on the elliptical, bike (stationary or real), walking, jogging, running, etc. **



The deadline to get to Rivendell is July 4th*, which means about 2.5 miles per day, and about 17-18 miles per week. Come on! We can do this! Get independent of your sedentary, no-walking lifestyle, by Independence Day (which is also my birthday, so I'm giving myself a little present.)!


*Ignore the dates on the list/map, as those are not fitting.

** When you post how far you are, also post what you did to get there, and how long.

Hmm, I work in a place where all the roads are named after lord of the rings, so I can walk from rivendell vale to hobbiton hill in under 5 mins :-)
