edited January 10 in Introduce Yourself
I thought I would go ahead and introduce myself since I haven't yet. I am a 21 year old college student and I have used this site for awhile but probably for the opposite reason as most people. Back in 2010 I really became interested in fitness but took it to the extreme. I started to view foods as bad and became obsessed with eating healthy. In March 2011, I was 130 lbs at 6 ft 3. I knew I had developed a problem and needed to change my life. I started to focus on increasing strength gaining weight at a slow and steady pace. I also stopped viewing foods as bad and allowed myself freedom to eat whatever I wanted with sensible portions. Since then, I have gained 36 lbs and I am stronger, look better, and feel more confident about myself. This journey has been hard but it has been totally worth it. I look forward to making even more gains this year. I also hope to meet some great motivational people on this site. Cheers!

I'm recovering from an ED myself so I get how hard it must have been to get past the "food=bad" stage and get better so well done :) Your story is inspiring, keep it up! :)
