Sodium

Hello!
I was wondering what an "acceptable" amount of sodium is good per meal. I'm trying to cut down on the sodium starting with next weeks meals. I preplan a week in advance.

    Good morning! Is there any reason in particular you are concerned about sodium? You look like an essentially healthy young woman.

    Looking back at my food log, I am almost always over in my sodium.

    My opinion, don't worry about it just yet.

    At the start of this lifestyle change you've chosen, salt is a non-factor compared to getting used to accurately measuring your food, being accountable to your diary and goals, exercising, figuring out what your body likes most, in terms of meal size / frequency / timing, macronutrient ratios, etc . . . sodium doesn't need to be on the radar just yet!
