Frustrated with the Scale!

I have been staying in my calories and logging in to MFP since January 1st. I am trying to lose the 5 pounds I gained over the holidays. I also want to lose 5 more before summer. I am eating clean, no sugar, no flour, low carbs, staying in my calorie range and I am exercising daily. I initially lost 2 pounds but now have gained 3. Doesn't seem possible! I know the scale lies and all that but can't it give me some kudos for my hard work!
Frustrated! Any suggestions?

    I would say first tip is to weigh yourself the same day and time weekly. If you get on the scale at different times of the day could throw your numbers off. Also try mixing up your daily meals don't eat the same breakfast everyday ect.... as well as try to vary your exercise routine will help keep your body guessing and speed up your metabolism.
