Carrot cake protein bars (more like bread)

These seriously taste like something you get at the cafe in the morning that is NOT healthy. I used whole wheat flour instead of oat since I don't know what the heck that is or where to find it, but otherwise I made it exactly as directed. It was easy, anyone can make. A lot of recipes out there need a food processor or mixer or whatever.

  • Other than "baby food carrots" those do look delicious. I think I'd puree up my own carrots in a processor, thanks. Eating baby food seems expensive and gross.

    I thought so too, but I don't have a processor so I went for it. It is still really good, though I would do it the same way if I had one. Thought about using pumpkin pie filling but that would add a lot of sugar.
