P90x..lose weight?

Ok so I'm on day 18 of p90x and am proud to say I have done it every day, to the full extent. I have tried p90 a year ago and definitely couldn't do it, nor wanted to. I'm determined to finish this 90 day program. I can see my body toning up more, still need to take measurements, haven't done that yet. My problem is I have not lost weight yet. I do not follow the diet plan, but log my food, eat a good balance of protein , veggies, but also eat carbs n sweets. I mostly just try and sat in my calorie range. I also use a polar Hrm to track cals burned. It's extremely frustrating to see the scale not budge. Have y'all who have done p90 started losing weight sat, or took a while? Did ya follow a strict diet? I'm sure I'm gaining muscle, and shouldn't focus on the scale, but damn on this site ya just see when people lost weight, not lost measurements. I don't know why I care about a number so much but just want to reach my goal.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

My sister and I did P90x for a couple of months. We only did it four days a week and didn't do the yoga cd. I didn't lose weight except 2-5lbs I fluctuate anyway with water weight but I toned up and my pants got lose which I think is a better indicator. We didn't do the diet either, was too expensive for me and I had three other people to feed in my family. I bet if you took measurements you would be VERY happy with the results!0

I have to go find the article that explain this wonderfully. and when i find it ill post it on here.
But pretty much...when you're sore your body retains water to heal the muscles. Leading to the scale not moving. The program also adds muscle which weighs more.
I'm gonna go find that article now...0 -
I've done it before. I didn't lose much weight (I think went from around 200 to 193 or so). But I needed new pants because my waist was smaller, and all of my shirts got tighter across the chest/shoulder/arms. So I lost some chub and added some muscle
Keep in mind I am a man, and I didn't follow the program exactly. More strength exercises, and less cardo0 -
Thank you, yeah I heard that about the muscles repairing. My calories are usually about 1300-1600 day. And that's with the exercise. Yeah yoga is so long!!0
