    i had to throw it out entirely cuz i cant eat it in moderation... just me tho.
    ^ This is me. I love ice cream, but I'd rather have none than a little bit.

    I wish I could have it everyday! I am severly lactose intolerant so eating it hits my innard with extreme pain :( I have it once every week... or three.

    My b/f came home one day and surprised me with a pint of B&J's Red Velvet Cake. I haven't tried it yet. He told me I CAN eat a little at a time. He says this while he is sitting next to me devouring a pint of Haagen Daaz White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle...ha,ha.

    Love me some ice cream!!!! Will never never give that up no matter what! I do enjoy the frozen yourt place too. BUt ice cream is my dessert, give me that any day over any dessert!!!!!!! YUM!!!!!

    My sister in law ask her kids when she dishing it out , you want a reg, size or an Aunt Shelby size? :tongue:

    Haagen Daz Rum Raisin! To die for! Luckily for me, it is hard to find in Iowa. I got fat eating too much ice cream, so am trying to teach myself quantity control. Somedays I do better than others. I am dishing it up into a beautiful antique coffee cup, and eating it with an antique silver salt spoon (those are hard to find thanks to the coke addicts!). But I still sometimes go back for seconds... or thirds...

    I also find I can control portion better with the frozen yogurt or sherbert. Not sure why, but cheap ice cream doesn't satisfy so I keep eating it. (Dumb, I know.) So I stopped buying the cheap. I have found myself "forgetting" that I have ice cream in the fridge, which never ever happened before lately. :smile:

    Greek frozen yogurt is delicious - there's a lot of companies doing it now too - as an alternative.

    I'm just not a fan of ice cream. It's okay, but if I'm going to splurge I'd rather have a brownie or a cupcake.

    I love Ice Cream, especially Ben And Jerry's but unfortunately, the range of flavours we get in the Uk is pretty rubbish.
    We don't get anything like the red velvet cheesecake or peanut butter cup, to my knowledge, unless they sell it in London somewhere.

    I have issues with moderation, and much as I wish I could afford to eat a pint a day, I would find that difficult, even on 2000-2200 allowance (like to make sure I get all my vitamins and minerals in there too).

    Must admit, I am slightly envious of you, Op, for being able to fit poptarts and ice cream into your daily diet.

    first 50lbs i lost , i ate ice cream almost every day ..now i rarely eat it but only because i just never do . i will when i want it though. thats a heavenly part of life
