Cookie Thursday

It's Cookie Thursday (4 fresh baked cookies for $1) here at the office and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't obsessing about it. I am craving the cookies and it's taking all I have in me not to run down to our cafeteria and pack my face full of chocolate chip and sugar cookies.

Don't get me wrong, I am not a person who thinks losing weight or healthy eating is all about avoiding delicious, sugar and calorie rich foods... In fact, I think quite the opposite-- Everything in moderation and proper portions, right?

I'm just obsessing... and had to say it "out loud." Am I the only one who feels better once I let these thoughts out of my head?

  • It absolutely makes me feel better to talk about it too! I have a guy in my office... that sits right next to me who is a fast food addict. He had McDonalds fries yesterday and I craved them for about 4 hours after he ate them... I went and worked out and the craving went away. Good for you for not giving in!

    I constantly think about "treats" that are here in the office. If I know ahead of time that they are going to be here, I will try to adjust my eatting to have a small amount, otherwise I just keep walking by them and saying I don't need this, I want it, which really works for me. You are certainly not th only one who goes through this, stay strong and know you will be healthier for it :flowerforyou:
