I once read in the forums and I wish I could find it and ther person who said it, but when you get those cravings the first thing you have to do after drinking water is ask yourself OK can I eat some vegetables now. If the answer is No then you arent really hungry and you dont really need the food.

Cravings are hard to get over when I binge it takes me 3 days to detox off the cycle after that they arent as strong and I can manage the temptations.

Fruit has natural sugars so they can work on sugar cravings, just be careful, too much fruit is a bad thing. 100 calorie snacks work too, it's pre-portioned, just don't eat more than one :-)

Other suggestions are to drink water, get in a workout, or do something to distract your mind from the craving. Good luck :-)

Perhaps if you ate a bit more, you wouldn't have such bad cravings, or they might not be so strong. Per your diary, you are WAY undereating , not even getting into the whole 1200 calorie thing. Make sure you eat all your exercise calories back, and I'll bet you won't feel so tempted! :flowerforyou:
  • If you have a strong craving for something, eat it. Otherwise you will crave it until you have it and then you may over eat. And gum does work wonders!
