Hey I'm mileena and I'm new at this. I'm trying to loss weight and I don't get the whole net cal. Thing are the suppose to be in the negatives when I'm done working out. Or no I don't get it.

Net calories are the difference between what you consume and what you burn away with exercise. If that net number is negative then you burned more than you took in with eating. You lose weight by eating less calories than the combination of your daily minimum requirement to maintain your weight minus what you burned through exercise. You do not need, necessarily, to burn more through working out than you eat because your body has to continue to burn calories at a base level just to keep you alive and functioning.0

Also remember that that is the number for the desired weight loss.
Lets say for example you want to lose 2 pounds a week. If you go over by say 200, you will lose less but are still operating at a loss of calories for the day.0
