How to get a great figure?

Ive been loosing weight for almost 3 years and i have 90 more to go. some people in my life say that they can tell ive lost weight, but i just cant see it. i want to end up with a really nice figure when all the weight is gone for good... is it really all about weight lifting and sit ups? or will it happen as i keep shedding the pounds? i just see all of these peoples amazing before and after pictures and i just want the same- just not sure how to garuntee ill get it....

Start strength training as you continue to lose. It makes ALL the difference!0

Congratulations on your success so far. I am new on MFP but not new to dieting . I have been as big as a size 16 and as small as a size 3 Right now i am about an 8 I am working towards a 5-6 For me working with weights and resistance training squats lunges sit ups etc has reallly helped me to tone the lose flab i am not where i want to be so i just started with a trainer . But i have done pretty good on my own with exercise tapes They have very easy ones to really challenging ones depending on your fitness level.
