grab some Cains Fat Free mayonaisse (10 cals per tbsp!), shred it up, and make seafood salad, stuff it into a pita or have it on wheat bread with lettuce....

Take the crab and shred it, then take a beef tenderloin filet and slice a pocket in it and stuff crab into it. Then grill as usual on stove or even grill. Filet is 70 cals per ounce. A full cup of crab is about 45 cals i think. so a 6 ounce (420 plus 10) is only 430 calories and is scrumptious. Make a bit of hollandaise sauce and put a couple tablespoons on it and before you are done you have an outstanding entree. Add in some steamers broccoli or whatever and maybe a cup of rice and you have a great meal.
  • They sell alfredo pkg. mix at the store. It makes like 2 cups. So much less calories when you mix it up yourself. make some pasta and you have yourself crab alfredo.
  • I like to shred it then add fresh squeezed lemon juice, shredded red onions and a few mild jalepenos. Cut up fresh avacado and put crab salad on top. Its kind of tart, but the avacado really compliments it. It's different, but good.

this is one of my favorite summer salads:

1/3 cup hidden valley spicy ranch dressing
    2 tablespoons lime juice
16 oz of crab meat or 1 package of imitation crabmeat
1 teaspoon diced jalapeno peppers (i add more, but we like the 'kick')
    1/2 cup diced red onion
2 1/2 cup seeded and diced tomatos (about 5-6)
1 1/2 cup diced english cucumber

in large bowl, mix together crab meat, tomatoes, cucumber, onion and jalapenos. pour lime juice and spicy ranch over salad. toss to coat. serve chilled.

the entire bowl is 788 calories. if you break it up into 6 servings, it is 123 a serving. it is great as a side by itself, served as a dip with chips and crackers, or if you can add a can garbonzo beans and 1 cup sliced celery, it makes a fab main dish. yum!
