need ab exercises fast!

Anything other than sit-ups, crunches or variation of these...Busy day and need to add them to my WO!

    Check out Erin Huggins Beginner Pilates on YouTube.com (other Pilates workouts will come up too-check them out too!) It doesn't feel like a workout while you are doing it, but you WILL feel it the next day! Pilates is awesome for ab work. :)

    planks, side planks, dips, pushups.

    Yoga Dolphin Pose - hold 1 minute, rest repeat
    Yoga full Locust Pose - hold 1 minute, rest repeat
    Yoga Boat Pose - hold 30 seconds, lower down slowly and repeat
    Side Plank with upper arm extended to the sky - hold 30 seconds, rest repeat on both sides

    I make that 7 minutes - feel your abs yet?

    Squats are great for many muscle groups including abs. You will always get the highest ROI for your time by focusing on compound exercises instead of isolation exercises where you only work on one muscle group at a time.

    Pull ups and push ups will help also. You can find examples of these (and how they will help your abs) on YouTube.
