Have fun and take the stairs everywhere. That helps so much! Do a few extra laps around the deck each day and breathe the fresh air especially on days at sea. In terms of intake, I'd bring a water bottle and keep it stocked! Skip all the drinks and save calories and $$ that way. Regarding calories, my intake is about 1800 right now and I know what a 500 calorie meal looks like so I'd eat 500 cals at breakfast, 500 at lunch and 500 at dinner plus a couple of snacks (about 200 each). I may use another 500 for desserts/wine some days but not all days. I prefer to use my calories on food that will keep me satiated. The cruise will have lots of protein, veggie and fruit options and they will be fresh! Enjoy!0

If I was on a cruise, I'd eat everything except the other passengers (for legal reasons).0

Was on a cruise around new years. My favorite meals was one I had at johnny rockets, it took 3 and a half hours (luckily they had seating on deck in the sun.
4 bacon and pepperjack doubles with jalapenos, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, and crispy onion strings
3 orders of chili cheese fries
3 oreo shakes spiked with rum from the bar
1 brownie sundae
I had the itis hard core after that.0 -

Whatever I wanted within calorie limits. And I still worked out while on vacation. That's how I reduce weight gain.

LOL, this.
I went on a Disney cruise back in September. I ate WAY too much food, but with all of the activity I didn't gain at all. Don't sweat it too much and just enjoy your trip.0 -

Dammit man. You took my answer.
LOL. Look, seriously. If I paid for a cruise, I'm enjoying it. I'll pay for it when I get back. With that being said, do I really need to go overboard? Wait, bad choice of words. I'll eat what I want but not necessarily make a pig out of myself by eating 2 lunches and having midnight pizza. When I get home from a 5 or 7-day cruise, I expect to put on a bit of weight.0 -
I agree with swimming...We scuba dive while cruising so our breakfast is small along with fruit for lunch between dives...Then a great dinner and adult beverages...while full days at sea we utilized the gym...We actually lost weight that trip! I also indulged in a lot of Vanilla Bean Souffle!!!0
