My doctor recommended WW and a friend of mine recommended this site.

Good for you. WW is great if you want the go to meetings and the accountablity of having to pay each week gives. I personally prefer the calorie method that MFP offers now that I am here. I did WW before and it is a great starting place to get things under control.

I agree with Angmu7, I don't want the cost associated with WW! MFP is good enough for me.0
