HELP !!! IT IS ALMOST THE WEEKEND! i AM SCARED!

This makes me laugh, my first conversation with my personal trainer about nutrition was me saying "I'm not giving up beer" and I haven't. I cut back a lot. I try and keep drinking to one night a week and I use the one drink/one water method that someone else mentioned. I enjoy going out an having cocktails with my friends and not something I am willing to give up. What you do has to be sustainable for a lifetime. Not giving it up has worked for me, but I definately cut back. That wasn't too hard for me and I guess if it is, not drinking is probably a better option. I have been very good about skipping the drive throughs on the way home though, for some reason I can really hold my ground there....could not tell you the last time I had taco bell
Two weekends ago I was out with friends for a birthday and they were all drinking wine and beer and I had water. They ordered onion rings and nachos for an appetizer, then pizza for dinner. I had a black bean burger with a side salad. I was good, laughed as much as the rest of them, got a friend and myself home safely and did two fitness classes the next morning. The next weekend, I had the beer and the pizza....still worked out though. So, moderation is key

i try to keep my weekend drinking/eating to once wknd a month...2 if i must.....and workout/eat super healthy a head of time, and dance off all the calories i can...park far away from the bar...burn as much as posible in between scanning my beer cans & logging my calories:) you're redefining a new normal....baby steps....good luck & have fun!
