New and not so new

Hi.
I've been using MFP for logging food and exercise for about 4 months, but haven't gotten on the boards before, so I thought I'd introduce myself.
I'm female, in my 50's, divorced, one 15 yo daughter, great boyfriend, a job that suits me and a house I love. Mostly, I'm a pretty happy person - until I find myself in the "stuff food in my mouth" zone, when I find myself totally out of control with eating.
I've struggled with weight all my life and consider food my "drug of choice". I recently lost 45 lbs on Optifast, which is great. It was my second go-round on OF - the last time being 6 years ago. Then, I lost 75 lbs and kept the bulk of it off until losing both parents and marriage in the span of a couple of years. I found being on OF freeing, but of course, one must go back to food and after a couple of months, I'm finding myself "cramming" again with no self-control and a lot of guilt and shame. What is UP with that?
Anyway, don't really know what I might find here, but I thought I'd at least reach out and maybe, just maybe, the journey can improve...
