Eating too much protein?

I seem to be going over my protein every day and I don't know if that is going to make weight loss harder. My daily calorie goal is set at 1,570 calories and then 56 grams of protein. However, I seem to be getting anywhere between 60-80 grams of protein per day. Is it bad to eat this much protein and will it be hard to lose weight?

That's absolutely fine, if your working out then you definitely need that protein and more! Don't worry0

My fitness pals default protein number is too low. Don't worry.0

Okay thanks! I usually work out 5 times a week for at least an hour so hopefully that's enough.0

The range you are hitting is good---even lower than most people who exercise a lot who try and hit 1 gram per lb of Lean Body Mass. I personally aim for 100g a day and I have noticed much more satiety and improved muscle mass versus just training without more protein.0
