It seems like I usually get right up to the 1,200 calories that Myfitness pal says I should hit but I go over the amount of protein a lot. Is this not a good thing?

I look at the protein amount that was already set by mfp as a minimum I need to meet.0

Thanks I feel like I'm doing a good job but then I see the protein in red and I was wondering if I need to keep it green to lose weight.0

Not necessarily. Do you know what your % of calories is protein? Depending on what your needs are, 20-30% is usually good. Some people do 15%. Mine was low too, but I upped it to 25% a little over a week ago & I'm less hungry (which was a good thing for me.)0
