Just getting back to Zumba... and for me, it's a pretty intense aerobic work out - compared to Hip Hop Abs or even low impact kick boxing, I know that I am more sweaty after Zumba. It's fast paced.
Anyway, I am comparing MFP "Aerobics, high impact" to some web sites that I checked out. There is a website www.zumbacalories.com that calculates calories burned based on your weight, intensity, and length of time. Calculating your weight into it seems more accurate to me than a generic number. But the web-site calculations were higher than the MFP numbers.
Any suggestions?

If it feels too high, go for a lower value that feels sensible to you. If after a week you think that you have got it wrong because you are losing too much weight or putting weight on - change the value.

If you do not want to make a mistake just do not eat too many of the exercise calories.

Get a heart rate monitor. Really thats the closest you can get to burn rate.
