ok guys, here is the recipe...I changed it a bit, so it wont be too sweet...
8-10 apples (I used Granny smith, so they will keep their sour taste), peeled and sliced
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 cup apple cider
in crock pot mix apples, butter and lemon juice. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon, toss to coat.Pour cider over apples.
Cover and cook on low heat setting 3 hours 30 minutes or until apples are tender,
I used less sugar and more lemon juice.
They turned out delicious. My son ate the hot cinnamon apples with vanilla ice cream and he is in love:)0 -
