Adjusting my macros

Everything I have read recently says that I should be eating 1g of protein for every pound each day. I have been using MFP to track my macros for a while but what MFP suggests for my protein is nowhere near what I should be getting. Is there a way that I can adjust my recommended macros on MFP so that I can more easily track my macros?
