Juicing Recipes Please

to help out a friend of mine who is going on a juicing diet for a short time, I am going to be replacing one meal per day with a juice out of a blender for encouragement. I want it to be mostly vegetables, but with some fruit mixed in to give it a better taste. I cannot buy any fancy fruits, but I have no clue about how to do this. So I need some advice.

What are some combinations you like? What veggies will work best, and what fruits will complement other veggies? I love cucumbers, carrots, and spinach, but have not tried them all together.

this is out of a blender, so I will have to chop stuff up before it goes in. Thanks for any tips!

Almost anything works with an apple or an orange - apple for green things, orange for red/orange things. My biggest juicing tip is really simple - keep the fruit light, and the same color-ish (greens or red/orange). Otherwise, almost anything goes!

I didn't find juice very filling, though. I'd love to juice while I'm on MFP but not sure if I can stick to my calorie goals at the same time... I'd love to hear how it works out for you, if it's doable. :)

Sorry to be picky but if you are using a blender it's not a juice it's a more of smoothie. Carrots work in a juicer but maybe not in a blender unless you have a powerful one or grate them first. There are plenty of smoothie recipes and links to relevant sites for recipes if you run a search here and on the Recipes board, this topic comes up every couple of days.

Frozen mixed berries disguise vegetables well, are low in sugar and packed with antioxidants - I've hidden spinach or green beans, plus avocado or canned pumpkin. Was looking at a recipe for a tomato, rhubarb and cucumber smoothie earlier today - rhubarb is technically a vegetable, I think cucumber and tomatoes are technically fruits tho, confusing!

Cocoa powder is a good addition to some combinations, it's packed with minerals and fibre and still a plant so legit. You might also consider block creamed coconut for creaminess - has all the fibre still in so counts as whole produce.
