resistance bands

Have decided that walking is the exercise that I enjoy most, trouble is I would like to tone up my arms etc.

Anybody use resistance bands? any advice on length and strength and workout?

Many thanks in advance

I use them. I bought Gold's Gym long and short and they came with exercise suggestions. Inexpensive, not hard on my joints and easy to store. The bands were my first workout equipment when I started exercising. I was so out of shape that I could barely do five of each move. I gradually built up and now they are part of my warm-up. I really like them.

I bought a Gold's Gym resistance band workout set. Was under $30 and even came with a good dvd workout program. I take it with me when I'm on the road for work since not all hotels have gyms.

I got a set of black mountain resistance bands from amazon. 29.99 and it comes with 5 different resistances. I use it with the beach body power 90 workouts. It's a good workout when I can't make the gym!
