Max Protein that can be absorbed per serving

The lady at the local nutrition store was giving me unsolicited "advice", and told me that the human body can't absorb more than 20 grams of protein per meal/serving,etc. She said buying a protein supplement that has anything more than 20 grams per serving is wasted protein. What do you think?
