calories not adding up right

Options
I was looking at my calories totals and I noticed the protein, carbs and fats are not adding up to the calories.

here are my macros from yesterday

calories 3395
proteins 361
carbs 324
fats 93

from what I have read, 1gram of protein and carbs are 4 calories and 1 gram of fat is 9 calories if that is the case I come up with

.
proteins 361 = 1444 calories
carbs 324 = 1296 calories
fats 93 = 837 calories
total calories = 3577

I am missing something?

Not everything is exact, and things are rounded up, so that could account for the extra calories easily.

but if 1 gram of protein and carbs are 4 calories and 1 gram of fat is 9 calories, then the totals at the bottom of the food page should add up right.

I think maybe you are being a little over obsessive on the numbers ?

They won't add up exactly because of rounding?

    This^^

And values on packages can be off up to I believe 20% each way.

The values are generally taken from the packet and not calculated from the formula.
You can add to the manufacturer getting it wrong, people entering the data wrong.

Its my understanding that MFP only goes by calorie count, carbs, fat, protein do not figure into the total calorie figure
