Can't see buying

Last night I had to go to a store and on the way out of that store they had a big mirror. I had wore sweat pants and sweat shirt, they are so very big on me and I hate to say it but made me look frumpy. I just don't want to waste money on clothes to only wear about 7 more weeks. I live in the midwest and winter is on it's last half. I;m not going to be wearing this size next year and don't want to get rid of them till winter is over. I will have to live with being frumpy I guess.

Hey mf! Go to Goodwill! You should be able to find some stuff there to get you by until spring without having to pay for all new stuff. There is one in Pekin too.
  • I agree thrift stores are you best bet right now and don't forget about eBay. Having clothes that fit you will make you feel better and motivate you even more.

honestly it's mostly my sweats and workout clothes that are the biggest, my work uniform is fairly fit and my jeans I have them in smaller sizes.

Well, if sweats are all you need, Walmart has Hanes sweatpants (for women anyway, not sure about mens), for only $5.00 a pair. If they fit better, you may feel even more proud of yourself and that's a good thing!

Check local consignment stores (which are clearing out winter clearance right now) and also local thrift stores. I can't tell you how many great new clothes I have gotten at these places.

Also, check to see if you have a local freecycle group. I just scored a big bag of basic clothes in my current size, abs will be putting up a bag of clothes in my former size that I've ungrown.
