HI, i am a 30 yr old mom of 2 and my youngest is four. I am 5'2 ish and 147 lbs. I have a long way to go but am very happy with all the support from the mfps. I am new to this and really want to make this a lifestyle and not a temporary change only to gain all my weight back. I am hoping to get into a bathing suit body in time for summer :smooched: I need to get advice on how i should be doing this. Currently i am doing Zumba from home on the internet for about 30 minutes every day. I am not doing any weights or strength training. I thought, and please correct me if i am wrong, that you need to do cardio to burn off that mommy tummy that i have been carrying around for so many years. Any advice from those of you who have been there would be greatly appreciated.:flowerforyou:

Weights boost the calorie burn by building muscle.ALL women need to do some strength training. The sooner you start the better because once your over 40,as I am,you lose muscle mass every year and muscles support and protect your bones.Even tension bands will help in the begining.0
