Well, I've signed on to MFP a while ago but never really used it. Now - 25 pounds heavier - I've realized I need to get it together. I used to be a gym rat - taught step aerobics and was a spin fanatic. I moved my mother in with me, she's my queen. 88 and still going strong; only downside is that she has Alzheimer’s. So I've been stress eating for the past year and ...well...I'm now 5'7 and 181 lbs. So I took the first step - I called my old trainer - Valentine - help! So last night was day 1 of training. OMG I felt like a whale. I felt fat in places that I never felt before. When I got home, all I could do was cry. How could I let myself get like this? So I logged back into MFP today and I'm ready. I hope I can find some friends here. It seems like this is a great vehicle to make friends and also have a great support system. Okay - I've said enough.....I'm just glad to be back in the gym...taking tiny steps towards my goal. Pray for me ya'll!
