Here are some why's

Here is what this is all about... This week I got my most recent lab results. Both LDL, HDL, & Trygicerides right where a 20 year old in good condition would be. Have struggled for several years to get the good Cholesterol up. Now it is. Bad was always good.

My kidney function which has been hurt by diabetes and pain meds inched back into the bottom of normal, All my other values were dead center in the expected ranges.

Blood pressure still has a ways to go but has come down enough that I have reduced two of my blood pressure meds and one of those may be eliminated within the next 60 days.

My why??? Want to be there in good shape when my 14 yr old granddaughter graduates and then at her wedding. And then be "papa" (That is child for great gramps) to my great grandkids. When we have a solid why, the how is a no brainer. :)

That is truly wonderful! My heartiest congratulations to you!

I understand the "looking good" part as much as the next person, but when it finally clicked for me that eating right and exercising meant fewer diseases and more weddings and graduations, well, I became unstoppable in reaching my health and fitness goals,

Congrats!! Good for you! The day we realize that we are letting food and inactivity control us and ruin our lives...is the day we all truly open our eyes and live life.

I made the decision a few years ago that I was going to be in control. And I've never been healthier! :)

    Awesome job!!

That is so amazing! Congratulations to you! My grandfather had heart problems and did not take care of himself and died when I was two, I wish I could have known him. I wish you the best of health! :)
