Eat my exercise calories if I was way yesterday?

Yesterday I totally blew my eating plan and ate a bunch of junk and put myself about 1000 calories over what I should have. Today I ran 9 miles (preparing for a 1/2 marathon) and have a whole bunch of calories that it is recommended that I eat. Should I still eat the calories I worked for today and just put yesterday behind me, or can I just let my exercise try to cover some of yesterdays overage?

In my (very personal) opinion: If you're hungry tonight, have a snack. If you're not hungry, don't try to play "catch up". Put yesterday behind you and keep working towards a slimmer, happier, healthier you! ^_^0

What is more important is what you do within the week than the day. So if you are feeling hungry then eat and maybe try to maintain a deficit the next few days so it all averages out.0

Okay, thanks for the advice, ladies. I'll hope it just evens out over the week.0
