I havent had one for absolutely ages... maybe even over a year.

I had an indian last night (i had a bit more than what is on my diary as i did polish off someone elses!! and had some almond naan (god i love it!!) I know it was bad of me and far too many calories but i had fun! i am use to bland
& boring meals.

Anyway today is a new day and so far i have been good so hopefully the takeaway wont do too much damage. i was 2 IBS heavier this morn with a bloated tummy but hopefully its more of just a food belly

Take aways generally contain quite a lot of salt so 2lb extra this morning could definitely be from water retention, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Glad you enjoyed your take away, we have them every now and again and if you leave it so long I know I really enjoy it when I have one. Its nice to have an enjoyable treat every now and again.

That's definitely a bloat baby; there's no way you ate a 7,000 calorie surplus without realizing it last night; heck, I doubt your body could even create so much fat in such a short amount of time. Enjoy the well earned feast!

Oh YUM!! Indian is my favourite...I wanted one last night and was going to give in and just have tandoori chicken with a salad and then i thought no - I'll wait a few more weeks and have a PROPER Indian takeaway with the Naan and everything!

Sag Aloo is waiting for me....mmmmmmmmmmmm
  • Occasional takeaways can be part of a balanced healthy diet. Witchy_wife is probably right about the salt in the takeaway leading to water retention. I wouldn't worry about it :)

sounds wonderful, don't sweat it, it is part of your journey and no way you really gained 2 pounds.
