Okay so my senior year of high school I weighed 160 pounds and my waist was 33 inches. My waist is now 34 inches but I'm 15 pounds heavier....

What is going on?

Could it just be muscle?

What about water weight AND muscle?

  • Definitely muscle!! I'm 20 pounds heavier than I was the last time that I wore the size of clothing I'm in now! You are getting stronger-- it's a great feeling :)

Highly unlikely it's muscle unless you're turning into a meathead at the gym. Have you looked behind you or down? My daughter tried to tell me she hadn't changed at all until I got her to take a look in the full length mirror at her butt!
  • it's probably lean muscle....at my thinest i was a size 6-8(UK) but my BMI was borderling overweight because of the amount on muscle i held.
