Get a food scale or do math. How many pounds did you buy? How any pork chops?

I noticed Costco has food scales last time I was there. Another place to check for one.

Get a digital scale but in the meantime with meats they have how many pounds is in the package on the label. If the pork is cut up into 6 pieces just divide the number of pounds by 6. It is a rough estimate because I know not everyone of them will be cut exactly the same but it will help you out until then.

I'm in the same boat, I haven't purchased a digital food scale yet. I do have a little food scale but it's not digital and I hate using it. (It's wobbly!)

I typically go by this : 1/4 cup = 2 oz. 1/2 cup = 4 oz. 1 cup = 8 oz. That's what I do for my meats in the time being, and so far so good with weight loss results.

Some people may argue this, but us poor folk do whats we gots to do in the mean time, lol.

I don't eat meat, but can't you ask the butcher at the store to weigh it for you? You should be able to ask for an exact size cut. As others mentioned, the weight of what you bought is always on the label.

But food scales are good for lots of things. I don't even have a digital one, just a little plastic one, but it gives me an idea for nuts, cheese, etc.
