I do if it isn't caffeinated or alcoholic, but I still try to drink more water than anything else.0

It only counts as water if its water. Caffeinated beverages, alcoholic beverages and carbonated beverages actually remove water from your system so they technically count as negative water. Make sure you consume an equal quantity of water for every such drink that you consume. On days when I drink beer, I often consume 2 to 3 gallons of water. In case you're in doubt, I spoke to my doctor (a well respected holistic practitioner and she highly recommends this approach). You should also be careful not to drink water that is too cold as its may interfere with your metabolism and cause it to slow down.0

^^^^. Yup. I read somewhere (it might have been by Mercola) that drinking cold water is similar to the process of cryogenic freezing Walt Disney underwent.0 -

Think about it. A calorie is a measurement of energy, and is equivalent of the energy needed to heat up one cc of water by one degree centigrade. By consuming cold water you cool off your furnace. You can counteract this effect by making sure you eat at least 6 times a day to keep your furnace revved up, but it's best to just consume room temperature water. You could also help yourself by drinking only hot water. The hotter the better.0 -

Might want to use an example of something that isn't a proven myth. Just saying.0 -

My oh my. Every year I hear something new about the best way to drink water. I read the drinking cold waters helps you burn more calories as your body has to then heat it to it's temp but now I'm reading otherwise??
OP- I only count water as water. I guess coffee/tea with NO sugar/milk/creamer added would kinda be like water with a flavour but I don't drink any of that....0 -

What? I saw it on Dr. Oz, too.0 -
But from a holistic point of view, won't the water actually put the furnace out; thus you'll need to eat another meal to get it going again?0
