Soo I have a question, i'm hoping someone out there can help me out...

I noticed that when I exercise, I get added extra available calories to my 'Food Tracker'

Does this mean we are suppose to eat more for the days calorie amount, that is left over?? OR the burned calories should ALWAYS be there but not eaten?

Sorry lol i was a little bit confused...can someone help ?

MFP works that way. It sets you a calorie level with a deficit built in, so if you exercise you should eat back all or most of those calories. Some folks will tell you not to....some will say to do it...its up to you. I do, and its working fine. Read the FAQ sections, it will explain the system.

Unlike other calorie tracking apps, MFP does not account for any exercise in your calorie goal until you've logged it. No matter if you entered that you plan zero or 30hrs a week of workouts, your calorie goal won't change until you track the exercise. You are expected to eat those calories back to have the deficit you plan for. Be contentious not to overestimate your calorie burns, but eat your calories back.
