5 foods never to eat

has anyone watched the whole of that presentation? It was too long, I didn't have time. If you did, what are the five foods never to eat?

would be entirely grateful if you can tell me

I dont know what presentation you are talking about but I think Never is a big word - I dotn think there are any foods that you couldnt eat occasionally in small amounts - even something totally nutrition empty and sugar packed like fairy floss - it you really liked it and you ate ,say, 1/4 cup once a month it would be ok.

Any food that creates a caloric surplus within the context of your daily diet and activity. Other than that, there's no reason whatsoever to exclude any specific food / food group unless you have some sort of sensitivity/allergy to it.

5 foods you should never eat...

    1. Nothing
    2. Nothing
    3. Nothing
    4. Nothing
    5. Nothing

As long as it's in your calories and you arent intolerant to it go ahead.. but make wise choices about it.

I know which presentation you're talking about, I watched it before. It's pretty much no-brainer stuff like artificial sweeteners, processed carbs, soda, etc.

I only got part of the way through as it was so long winded but as I remember...

    1. Concentrated fruit juice (alternative: pressed juice)
    2. Margarine (alternative: butter)
    3. Whole wheat bread / pasta /"high carbs" (alternative: brown rice)
    4. ??????
    5. Profit!

Actually this can have suprising results (my grandparents coat meat with sugar prior to cooking and it really brings flavor out)

Salt where sugar should be I would say is the no-no

Provide a link to peer reviewed research backing this up please, otherwise it's obviously made up to sell me something.

You forgot Food that has been licked by someone else. (Unless it's family because somehow that's more socially acceptable.)

You shouldn't eat potatoes you know. They're part of the nightshade family, which means that they're poison! Better cut out tomatoes, too. Just to be safe.

You forgot "food you're allergic to." That's an important one.

    Internet joke.

I think they were saying that, while it is better than white bread, it still has quite a high GI so it's not neccesarily as healthy as the brands claim. Here is a quick summary of wholewheat grains vs flour - http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/id/QAA400088
