I have just cooked some puffed pastry wrapped curry things. One sheet of pastry, 500 cals :noway:
It's within my calories, because I had a really bad morning. It's also not the sort of thing I what to eat regulary, but oh so yummy.
So I was wondering what other people use instead of puff pastry, that they still find yummy.

Phyllo dough is useful for many puff pasty applications while being significantly lower in fat. I like using them to make miniature pot pies.

I will have a look at that when I go to the shops next. I haven't cooked with that before. Thanks
