NO TEMPTATION WEEK!

Who's with me! Starting today I am beginning a no temptation week. I am at a stand still right now but I find that everyday i at least give in to one tempation that ends up bringing me over my limit. And that includes sitting on the couch instead of working out as well. This week, I am vowing to do everything right. I will work out every day that i can...(wednesday's are my only day that I cannot)...I will not eat something just because it looks great and I cant pass it up...I'm going to get over this hump and by next week Thursday I plan to be back on track...this includes no drinking over the weekend.
Here's the thing that I've realized about myself and it might help you all too...Food is my biggest downfall. I can work out every day, that doesn't bother me, but I cannot pass up on food. However, I've started to realize, I will have a chance to eat these things over and over again...it doesnt have to be every time. When I see something that looks really good I almost feel guilty about not eating it...like I will never get the opportunity again...BUT THAT'S THE BEAUTY OF MY REVELATION! I will eat these things again....i will be offered a brownie or a piece of pie at another point in my life. Its ok to pass it up this time and hit it up next time. If i start to live like this and not feel like every burger and fry will be my last, i think i can make it. But i'm going to start slow...with NO TEMPTATION WEEK!
So.....WHO'S WITH ME! Join me in the fight against food, drinking, and overall lazy behavior. Get over your hump, stall, etc. We can do this!

Definitely! I had a leftover St. Patty's Day cookie today after lunch. I shouldn't have because now I have to limit my dinner (or workout really quickly before I have to go out for bf's birthday) and that SUCKS.
Y'all pray for me or send good thoughts my way...I'm going to a hockey game tonight after getting pizza (I'm going to be good! No soda, no extra parmesan, and less than 2 pieces of pizza 'cause that's NORMALLY what I eat) and there's going to be fried foods and nachos all over the place and I am. GOING. to want some. I am only going to go in with enough money to buy the man a beer and me a water and hopefully that helps!!0 -
Go you!!!!! I'll join! I'm going to eat cake on my birthday, but this will help me not eat the WHOLE cake, haha. I'm excited! I am super competitive, and need a challenge and other people around to beat my own challenges.0

You can do it Arielle! I have faith in you. It'll be tempting, no question; but with all the work you've been doing and giving yourself permission to have the pizza, passing up on the nachos and beer will be a snap (besides, think of how bloated you will feel if you have the nachos AND the beer) It might suck for a bit tonight, but you'll feel so much better in the moring. Good luck and here's to you :drinker:

Wow....you all inspire me everyday!
This week has been one of the hardest of my life, and when I'm stressed, and tired, all I want to do is EAT.
Last weekend, my husband and I had the hugest fight we've ever had in our 7 years of being together/ 1.5 years being married, which led to a sleepless night Sunday, which has made me tired during a week that I'm usually tired anyway (DST really messes with me!)
Fortunately, I've been under 2,000 cal. all week when before I easily would have let myself just eat and eat and eat...........
UNFORTUANTELY, under 2,000 doesn't mean I've done WELL, because i'm supposed to be around 1200....and I've been over that every day.
I'm not sure I can give up temptations this whole week. But if you all can, I'm sure going to try!
Good luck all!0 -
Hope everyone's doing well and staying strong!!!0
