Hi all-

I've been doing this for a week and I'm a little discouraged. The site tells me to eat 1200 cals. plus eat back what I burn in exercise to lose 1.1 pound a week. I have actually been having trouble cracking 1100. And even that feels like too much eating and not enough losing. AND... so far I don't notice any weight loss whatsoever. Which I know would not be much at this point, however this is not my first time dieting and ordinarily I would feel a bit less bulky now. I don't! (What I mean by ordinarily is dieting where I keep my cal. intake as low as possible.)

I'm bewildered by all the comments and lectures about having to eat ENOUGH to lose weight. It's counter-intuitive and the fact is, eating more has never resulted in less weight for me, but MORE. Plus, I am an older women with an older woman's screwy metabolism and tendency to gain weight, especially around the middle. Are there different rules for me maybe? Because I don't feel like this is going to work....
